Handball: Accreditation for Women’s World Championship open until 31 October


Accreditation requests for the IHF Women’s World Championship in Japan (30 November until 15 December) are still possible until 31 October. Interested media representatives can apply via https://apps.st-software.com/ihf-publicregistration/en-US/Account. The A.I.P.S. is not involved in the preparation in terms of media management and media operations. On the fringes of the Men's Champions League Final Four tournament in Cologne, IHF President, Dr Hassan Moustafa stated “the preparations are on the right track, everything runs perfectly”. The Women’s World Championship will take place from 30th November to 15th December in the Kumamoto region. A total of 24 teams are participating.
EHF and A.I.P.S. met in Vienna
In Vienna, representatives of the European Handball Federation EHF and A.I.P.S. talked about the content of further cooperation. For future Men’s and Women’s European Championships and Final Four tournaments in Champions League, EHF Cup and the upcoming European Handball League and Europa League, an email account was agreed to be able to solve any media related problems quickly.
The A.I.P.S. will set up this account to report problems. This account will be used for the first time at the Men’s EHF EURO in Sweden, Norway and Austria in January 2020. It was also agreed, to create a questionnaire to assess the working conditions for media workers by the accredited media representatives after the end of major tournaments as part of the event evaluation. Further topics of the one-day meeting at the headquarters of the EHF in Vienna were questions of media rights, the arrangement and configuration of media centers and mixed zones as well as the integration of representatives of the social media.
The online accreditation process for the Men’s EHF EURO 2020 is now open via bsp;https://apps.st-software.com/ehf-publicregistration/en-US/Account. The application deadline is November 29th. The Men's EURO will be held in three countries for the first time, Norway, Austria and Sweden are jointly co-hosts for 24 national teams from January 9 to 26.
