RABAT, September 1, 2019 - Invisible soldiers are all over the earth! Their names and colors are different, but their hearts are the same! They love good and hate fame. They do not seek to appear. But they are the pillars of any championship and the pillars of any architecture. Without them, there wouldn't be any glory.
The 12th edition of the African Games Rabat 2019 was a successful. This success was not only because of the athletes and prominent organizers on the scene, invisible soldiers also contributed greatly.
Omar Bencadi was one of them. The 26-year-old added value to the African Games through a very delicate and difficult task: managing the official accounts of the Games across different social media platforms. This young man is seen everywhere there is competition, providing ample coverage on various social networks without respite
“I am the Social Media Manager. I take care of the management, animation and moderation of the pages of brands on digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube),” explained Omar.
This task was assigned to him by the organizers of the Games given his knowledge in the field and his availability.
“My job is to create content. The content takes several forms stories, posting, live posting, creation of legends accompanying published images. I also take care of the management of the visual content through the setting up of creative intentions to help the studio team to better create the visuals, the videos,” added the young community manager.
Omar's day begins with a morning coffee, then the events that he has to cover according to a schedule made beforehand with the team. he begins by locating places from different angles where he could have shots. Then he tries to set up a content that follows a certain logic so that the user is not lost between the various content posted. “This kind of event requires a lot of content,” said Omar. In the evening he makes a posting schedule corresponding to the day after and so on.
Omar has lived to the rhythm of the Games, a pace so intense and strong that it requires great sacrifices. Something that Omar has done with the greatest pleasure in the world thanks to his great love for sports.
Omar Bencadi was just one of the 2000 invisible soldiers, who voluntarily offered their services to ensure a smooth event in Morocco. Soldiers who have successfully accomplished their mission and deserve a tribute and thank you for their dedication.
