Tautvydas Vencevičius re-elected as president of Lithuanian Sports Journalists Federation

VILNIUS, October 1, 2021 - Tautvydas Vencevičius is heading the Lithuanian Sports Journalists Federation (LSŽF) for a second term after he was re-elected on September 25.
The 44-year-old was the only candidate for the post.
Dalius Matvejevas and Stasys Petkus were re-elected as vice-presidents and Tomas Gaubys remains the secretary general. The members of the board who kept their place include: Ingrida Petuchovaitė, Marius Grinbergas, Romanas Buršteinas and Rytis Sabas. While Brigita Virbalytė-Dimšienė, Marius Bagdonas and Martynas Suslavičius joined the board for the first time.
“I am glad that we will be able to continue our work and implement new ideas. We have an experienced team with three active new members. We will continue to work for all, not for ourselves,” said Vencevičius. “Before the COVID-19 pandemic we managed to open a new page of activity and opportunities to implement the main idea of our organization – to unite a team of active sports journalists and make LSŽF a prestigious organization, build professionalism, organize events and competitions, cooperate with sports organizations in solving essential matters.”
New LSŽF regulations corresponding to present reality were approved unanimously.
