The Silver Doe statuettes

MOSCOW, January 8, 2022 - The Russian Federation of Sports Journalists (FSJR) has selected the country's ten best athletes of the year 2021, alongside the best coach and team. And as the year turned out to be Olympic, albeit the Games being called Tokyo 2020, it is not surprising that the best sports personalities were mainly Olympic champions.
All of them will receive the traditional and very pleasant Silver Doe statuettes during a ceremony to be held in 2022, in collaboration with the Russian Olympic Committee.
Here are the winners in alphabetical order:
Batsarashkina Vitalina (shooting)
Kalina Andrey (Paralympic sport - swimming)
Daniil Medvedev (tennis)
Nikita Nagorny (artistic gymnastics)
Pozdnyakova Sofia (fencing)
Repilov Roman (luge)
Romashina Svetlana (synchronized swimming)
Rublev Andrey (tennis)
Rylov Evgeniy (swimming)
Khramtsov Maxim (taekwondo)
Best coach - Mikhail Likhachev (beach soccer)
Best team - Russian national synchronized swimming team
