DOHA, November 15, 2022 - With five days to the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which has already started welcoming journalists from all corners of the globe, Gianni Merlo, AIPS President, takes you on an insightful tour of the media centre.
Thousands of accredited media representatives are expected in Doha for the tournament which will run from November 20 to December 18, 2022, with FIFA and Qatar 2022 promising "centralised, state-of-the-art infrastructure and services". Considering that the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be the most compact edition of the tournament with all the action concentrated in and around Doha, there is the Main Media Centre (MMC) which is co-located with the International Broadcasting Centre at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
Below is a video by Gianni Merlo taking us around the MMC for Qatar 2022.
