The fans made funny pre-match posts on social media

When it’s about football between Senegal and the Gambia, the game takes another dimension. After Gambians qualified beating Nigeria in the semifinals, the final started on social media with a series of jokes and caricatures among supporters from both sides.
Senegal and Gambia are known as the same people living in different countries. However, Senegalese supporters expected this final to be easy for the young Lions because the Senegalese team was considered stronger than Gambia's. Meanwhile Gambian supporters did not see it in the same light and used all possible comparisons to show their strength. The economic, political, social domain and even the way of living between the two countries were used by both sides to make fun.
Despite the win of Senegal's Lions over the young Scorpions, the fun game is still going on, between these two neighbouring countries, which in the end have all in common.
