South South SWAN congratulates Sirawoo on achievement and expresses full support for new SWAN leadership

PORT HARCOURT, July 19, 2023 - The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), South South, has congratulated the immediate past SWAN President, Dr Honour Sirawoo, the newly elected NEC members and all delegates that attended the just concluded National Triennial Delegates Congress of the association held in Omoku, Rivers State for a successful Congress.
"You have demonstrated a consistent fidelity to progressive and welfarist ideals and ability to build bridges across several divides.
GOOD AMBASSADOR The newly elected Vice President of the zone, Azuka Ralph Chiemeka in a statement, described Dr Sirawoo as a good ambassador of the zone, with an excellent leadership acumen which he demonstrated while in office as President of the association.
The South South Vice President thanked the immediate past President for his sagacious stewardship and unwavering devotion to the association which demonstrated the hallmark of excellence in leadership that reflected inclusiveness, balance, equity, and meritocracy.
PROGRESSIVE LEADERSHIP "We note with delight, your exceptional leadership, dedication and unwavering commitment to the world of sports journalism in the country.
"You have demonstrated a consistent fidelity to progressive and welfarist ideals and ability to build bridges across several divides.
"We are indeed grateful to the Almighty God for the grace bestowed on you for piloting the affairs of the Association to a successful end, and as such, South South SWAN is proud to be associated with you."
HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS The Zone also extends its heartfelt Congratulations to the newly elected National President and other members of the National Executive Committee of SWAN for their overwhelming victory at the just concluded national election.
"Your various collective journey to this exalted positions in the Association is nothing short of inspiration and for us in the South South, we are incredibly proud to be identified with the new leadership of the association.
