Kakha Jintcharadze becomes MVP of Superleague

Jintcharadze had a season to remember

TBILISI, June 3, 2024 - After a brief stint with Georgian National Team, it was time for Kakha Jintcharadze to shine in domestic league.

Jintcharadze became MVP of the 2023/24 season. The shooting guard of TSU got 100 points in a poll, consisting of journalists and Superleague’s head coaches. This is a second Most Valuable Player award for Kakha. First time he got the nod two years age while playing for Olimpy team.
Jintcharadze is 30 years old and he is just getting better and better. A fearless attacker of the rim, Kakha had a season to remember. His averages were 22.4 points, 6.4 boards, 4.3 assists and 1.4 steals. He helped TSU to win Georgian Cup, but his team failed to get passed Kavkasia in the Play Offs.
He had his best game in the play offs versus Kavkasia when he got 36 points, 7 dimes and 5 boards as TSU evened the series an 2-piece 100:94.
Otherwise, TSU had an injury riddled season, where team failed to meet the high expectations. All in all, Kakha was dominant and the sky is the limit for this energetic player.
Second place belonged to Alexander Phevadze, while Kenny Cooper took the third one.
