The Cranes then delivered a masterclass in their matches against Tunisia and Burkina Faso, securing resounding victories of 43-0 and 29-0 respectively. In the quarter-finals, Uganda faced Ivory Coast once more in a tense rematch.
The game ended 10-10 in regular time, forcing extra time where the Cranes showcased their resilience and determination, ultimately clinching a 15-10 victory.
