Sandro Bazadze is aiming for an Olympic gold

TBILISI, November 6, 2024 - A sabre fencer from Georgia Sandro Bazadze is still looking for his first Olympic gold medal. A three-time participant of the Olympics, he is here to compete.
Do or die. Plain and simple.
A family man, a father of two cute girls, Sandro is a two time individual European champion.
He is in love with The Three Musketeers, an immortal novel of Alexandre Dumas. And like the main character from this epic story, d’Artagnan. Bazadze is a warrior, who never backs out.
Heroic, chivalrous swordsman with a heart of gold.
Bazadze: "I am not afraid of losing. Everybody does. You are getting better by getting some experience. What am I afraid of? Probably losing someone that I love."
He is not a dreamer, more of a reality man. And he has some goals set long time ago. Mostly, to finish his career as an Olympic champion.
Bazadze: "At some point of my life I really wanted to become an actor. But, you know, as a proud son of a former fencer, I followed my father and became a fencer. And, from my point of view, not a bad one."
He had some control issues, as one who is slow to control his temper, but that is a part of his history. Bazadze is aiming high.
He is a believer. He trusts in God, family and love. He adores friendship. And he is one to always give a chance to someone who failed in that friendship.
Bazadze: "Would I change anything? Probably not. We are made of flesh, we do some proper things, we make mistakes, we learn from them, you know. So, I think, I would leave all the same. I am a lucky guy with a real goals and always looking for some progress. So, yes, I would leave all the same."
As noted above, Bazadze twice took home European jackpot (2022 Antalya, 2023 Plovdiv). And, there is more to come.
The book about Sandro Bazadze will be simply called Warrior. It is being written.
Warrior is aiming high. As does Bazadze.
