VENICE, April 15, 2025 - A month before the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships scheduled for Leipzig in Germany from 26 to 31 May 2025, the traditional international competition, "Trofeo Citta' di Jesolo", took place. Over 60 athletes from 8 countries registered for the competition, which was a good test for the participating gymnasts, some of whom were competing for the first time this season.

The competition, which has reached its 16th edition, was held in the Pala Turismo in Jesolo Lido and was won by Manila Esposito (Italy) who accumulated 55,750 points, followed by Claire Pease (USA) – 53,800 points and Ashlee Sullivan (USA) 53,600 points.

Team Italy A with a total of 153,300 points won the team competition, followed by the USA (162,350 points) and Italy B (157,000 points).

Romanian Ana Maria Bărbosu won two silver medals in these competitions: the first on the beam, where she was surpassed only by Manila Esposito (Italy), with the bronze medal going to Alice D Amato (Italy); and the second medal was won on the floor with 13,500, behind Alba Petisco (Spain), 13,500 (better score in execution) and ahead of Emma Fioravanti (Italy).
